  • Avanti II production images 1982

    http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/e...g?t=1311837627

Above a photo taken in May 1982 of the South Bend Avanti II production. These were sent to me by Richard Pianca of Davenport, Iowa and they were given to him by the family of Leonard Bucholz who apparently took them during a tour of the assembly plant. This and the other images I may post later were made from 35mm slides. I scanned them at 1500ppi and came up with some fairly good screen images but they do not print out real well. Has anyone had any particularly successful experience in scanning 35mm slides and if so is there an easy way to make good digital images from slides?

Here is another. If you have an '82 maybe your car is in one of these photos?

A Nikon CoolScan 5000ED is what works for me. It does both 35mm slides and 35mm negatives with impressive results. The three photos I posted in this thread are from 35mm slides scanned by this device. http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.c...ighlight=bible
