I found this picture of a cool 64 Daytona road race car. Anyone know more about it?

There was a write-up about it in the October 2008 Turning Wheels. The car is based out of Central Oregon. It is a '64, but is being raced as a '65~ in other words~ there's a 283 in it now. It vintage races at SOVREN (http://www.sovren.org/) events up here in the Pacific NorthWest. Here's a really old post about it~

It seems to me there are other posts about it- but they didn't come up in my search.

The Hudson Valley Chapter built a "stock" 1964 Daytona hardtop drag car many years ago. I provided parts and did a lot of the work, but someone else drove it, even though I had more drag race experience (on a strip) than they did.
