  • Day/Night Mirror

Did Studebaker ever offer a "day/night" mirror for the '62 Hawks....or for any Studes for that matter, which could be adapted to a '62 Hawk without much hassle?

They did by 64 at least, but not sure about earlier. I have the 63 accessories catalog around here somewhere, but I can't find it. Here is the mirror from the 64 brochure.

I have a '63 Hawk accessories catalog and no day/night mirror.

I really miss one on both my Studes. How did we do without it?

True, a lot of conveniences were not available - but try finding a new car with a Hill Holder...!!

I had heard that Subaru picked up the patent, but I have also heard they are not making them any more... I think that ad was back a few years[?]

Yeah, that ad was 1981. In fact that Suburu is now an antique! How time flys. [:0]
