  • Studebaker meet in Townsend, TN

Spent a little bit of Saturday at a Stude meet in Townsend, TN this weekend. I think this has become an annual event and also coincides with a big Ford F100 annual meet and a 50s Chevy meet in and around Pigeon Forge. Unfortunately the latter two get more publicity and visitors. Regardless, it's an overall good weekend for antique vehicle enthusiasts. Joe Inman and the rest of the Smoky Mountain Chapter seem to have done a nice job of organizing things the last two years. And I didn't really count, but guessing I think there may have been 30-40 Studebakers in attendance. The wife got to visit relatives and I got to spend some fun time with the Studes... It was a good, little trip.

Yeah, and I'm pretty sure it was for sale! Although I can't remember for how much. The '52 was going for $6500 I believe.
