    Anybody know what those covers are called? I don't; could they be "cat's eye?" (Seriously, anyone know for sure? I believe they were more popular in the 50s than the 60s and later. Ted Harbit also had them on his earlier stocker, Teacher's Pet, the subject of our previous Pop Quiz this week.) BP
    That's what I've called those; Cat's Eyes. We have had a set on the '55 show car since we bought it, and I always thought they looked cool .
    1964 Studebaker Commander R2 clone
    1963 Studebaker Daytona Hardtop with no engine or transmission
    1950 Studebaker 2R5 w/170 six cylinder and 3spd OD
    1955 Studebaker Commander Hardtop w/289 and 3spd OD and Megasquirt port fuel injection(among other things)
