Must say, I kinda love it all. Except the bullet nose in the trunk. That's over the top and detracts from a well thought out and seemingly flawless custom. Two bids to $50,100 and reserve not met. Not something I could own but would love to slobber over.

When you said "Bullet Nose in the trunk" I was afraid someone had cobbled a bullet nose into the deck lid. Glad I clicked the link and checked it out myself. That bullet nose looks fine, as long as you keep the trunk closed.

Ahhh, the Green twin turbo GM powered demon hath returneth to Ebay!!
A well done vehicle, especially with the execution of the twin turbos. A little more than I have, and well and above my skill level, but a well done vehicle nonetheless !!

Beautifully done car that is way past where I would want. Interesting that he calls it a Starlight. Looks more like a Starliner to me.

I really like the turbo setup, that looks really well thought out, to fit all that hardware, under that hood.

How do you chop a top that much... and still not have to modify the rear window??? That has me confused.

Yeah, we've seen it already a couple of times. It's worth what he's asking. However, a custom is one man's vision. Finding someone else who will put that bucks into that car is the difficult part. It's the wheel/tire package which ruins it for me.

If you look at the panel between the rear window and the trunk lid it appears the back window is pushed back and down. It is also tilted forward and raised up into the roof line. I bet if you measure the length of the roof compared to a stock one you find it is considerably shorter. Took a lot of vision and trial and error to get it right I'm thinking. Really looks well done, everything flows. The only thing I would want to add to that car is something in the grill openings. It looks unfinished to my eye. Really a small thing though.

Go back, zoom in to the pic that shows the front. There is something in the grille openings. However, if it were mine, there would probably be a few dead mummified birds crammed in there as well.

                      Wouldn't happen here!

To steal a few words from Jack Vines "A custom is one man's vision". I started to list the things I would change, BUT,
this is easier. I could live with the grill open, without bars, but everything else would look better if the body wasn't
changed at all. Just my opinion.

What you're probably looking at is the intercooler for the turbos. I don't need them as much on my '55 because of the small size of the turbos, but for the size of the turbos he's using they are more than a good idea. The intercooler is used to help cool the air charge going into the intake, so the car gets a better boost than a turbo system without it. That's also why you see three pickup tubes running over the top of the radiator, two go into the intercooler, and one goes to intake manifold. Most of the time they will size an intercooler that fills the grille area to maximize the cooling effect, and they usually stick them in a place where its not obstructing the radiator too much. The import guys will do this quite a bit where they will fill the lower pickup area with an intercooler.
