  • The most rare?

Which is the most rare or less produced, a 55 Speedster or a 63 Super Hawk?

I'll go for Super Hawk. Could be wrong, but I remember it as the Super Hawk.

Quite a bit fewer GT Hawks PERIOD. 1,548 V8 and 224 (Export) 6 in 1963. Super Hawks, whether full package or not, would be a small fraction of the 1,548 V8 GT Hawks, perhaps a couple of hundred at most?

I am pretty sure that even Avanti Powered GT Hawks, PLUS all the '63 & '64 Super Hawks, do not even come close to the number of '55 Speedsters built.

But the truth is, if one prefers a Speedster, none of that will matter!

Then there are the "as ordered" rarities, like say for instance there may only be ONE Custom Ordered, Surviving Two Tone Blue, Congo Ivory Leather Interior '55 Speedster with Overdrive left in the WORLD! If there were, I for one would love to own it! And I despise 1955 Studebakers!

I thought the lowest "production" cars were the 57 Golden Hawk 400's and the 58 Packard Wagons. I could be wrong.

                Hi

                '57 Golden Hawk 400: 51 units
                '58 Packard Wagon: 159 units
                '39 Commander 9A Convertible Sedan: 57 units
'39 State President Convertible Sedan: 21 units
'38 Commander Six 7A convertible sedan: 3 units
'33 President State Convertible Sedan: some number approaching zero
'32 President State Convertible Sedan: Some number close to zero

Love it when a real rarity is still extant and is restored!

Exactly what is the closest number to zero?

It's funny how opinions really sway,I just love the sloped slab of chrome that spans accross the front of 55s.

They don't SWAY, Joe, they DIFFER! '55's are like Avantis...you love em or HATE em!

I think it would very rarely ever work, to try to convince a '53 or '54 C or K owner that '55's are beautiful!! Lol!
