  • 64 Lark tachometer

I have to go to the experts again to find what a 64 Lark style(green) tachometer might be worth in good condition?
    THANKS

A Standard '64 Tach or an "R" Series Red-line Tach.?

They are usually worth what the Seller is willing to part with it for. If no asking price is given, I would start at $100.00 and go from there to an agreeable number.

Paul said 64 "Lark". I am almost certain that there was only one type for the Larks, all which have the red lines at the higher RPMs.

The Hawks, however, did have both the redline and all white tachs. Super Hawks got the redline tach. The Larks only have one style.

OK, I don't want to overtax your wallet, so I won't say what I think about that! You NEVER know who's on here!

Interesting timing. I just sold an original tach out of a 64 Lark Daytona to a fellow forum member a few weeks ago. It brought considerably more $$$ than is being discussed here. And, we were both happy with the transaction. I think they are pretty darn rare.

Rare true, Good aftermarket tachs can be had for 1/10 the price, But if ya gota have original ya gotta pay whatever it takes.
Reminds me of the line from Family Vacation; "How much?...How much you got?"....No, really, I asked how much? ....And I asked How Much You Got?

Interesting how the patent number is on the 64 green face tach. On the '63 tach there is no such number. As previously mentioned the 64 green face tach was still available a few years ago at Sasco.

I can do the 63's and am working on some '64's now. Anybody have some clock delete panels?

Likely well above $100. Whatever, it is likely a fair bit less than a 63. Shame the same gauges weren't used in both Hawks and Larks
