  • '53/'54 Stude Nose Picture(s) Needed

    Need some help...
I need a picture takin' Stude guy to help me out.
Am looking for some pictures of the front side panels of a '53 or '54 Stude.
They need to be of a very good Stude (Retored, or pristine) and chrome.
Just like this one (Thanks Dave!), but with chrome surrounds...

I need the pic(s) to be taken real perpendicular to the face surface.
Both left and right would be sweet.
If someone can do that, e-mail the pic's to me at:
    deepnhock at gmail dot com
Blast off a bunch of them in real high resolution.
My e-mail can handle big pic's.
    Thanks ahead of time.

Not such a good picture. Will probably be another month before she sees sunlight again. Got me to thinking about how unattractive those fog lights are. Maybe I should lose them. Wonder what a LiBrandi plated set with 12volt bulbs could fetch.

          That is real close.
The camera needs to be in the middle of the surround (up higher and to the left a bit), looking down on the surface as if it were flat on the floor.
(If you laid a straight edge on the face vertically and measured straight up and out at 90 degree's)

          or......
Take a half step to your right and raise up 18" and look down at the grille surround...
          Thanks!

Jeff, the grill bar insert doesn't stick out , it is at the same angle as the surround. (If that is what you are wondering)

It's kind of hard to describe this, but I'll give it a try.
The pic is going to be made into a flat vinyl graphic sticker.
If the pic is taken from straight in front of the car, and you print it flat, and then lay it back, it will look distorted.
So the pic needs to be taken looking squarely down at the face of the grille surround.
Not from straight above, but from straight off the surface.

                  Big nappy roller, Brad
I thought about making some surround bars out of aluminum and backside bolting them on.
But... It is a race car and adding metal that doesn't add power is not desired.

                    OKAY !!
You want to print a flat decal that looks like a real grill, if I comprehend.
