  • R2 project car

I got a few, poor pictures of the R2 GT project discussed in another thread from the widow. Her husband was over 30K into the car to get this far when he died, and the engine is still in little boxes.

The ultimate in the development of the Studebaker road car...
What a great starting point for a project.

Think about that for a minute...

Then put your future cap on....
Could you do it for any less ten years from now, if at all?

Jeff, I agree and may well buy the car once I get more details. I know the guy went nuts with NOS parts. i.e. NOS tinted side windows, 160 MPH speedo, supercharger, all NOS gages, switches, dash overlay, the works. The problem as I see it, is that I could drop another 10K in the car to finish it, so anything over 15K for the project makes it a iffy deal with the labor involved. The poor guy spent over 10K on labor alone just to get it as far as it is.
