  • Past SDC International Meets (list?)

I seem to remember that a list of the 46 past International Meets was posted here somewhere~ but multiple searches using just about every combination of words I can think of turns up nothing. If any one knows where I can find it, or has the list-- please contact me, or let me know where I can find it...

    Thanks!

Check any SDC Roster. The list of International Meets, Past Presidents, et al., appears in there.

It is also listed in the "Inside Facts" book that each chapter should have in it's possession, these were handed out at the Lancaster Meet and then sent our right after to chapters throughout the wiorld. However, what the chapters did with them or who has them know may be a question.

I was at the 1967 East Mckeesport, PA meet. I was only five years old but still remember walking around the cars.

My Dad took his 1920 four passenger roadster and 1930 Dictator 4 door sedan. There was a 1914 Touring there also which he purchased shortly after the meet. Forty three years later, he stills owns the 1914 and 1930. He sold the 1920 a few years ago.

              Good memories.

I wonder if we can reserve a wall at next year's International for a huge display of photos from past International Meets, such as those taken the 1970 Meet that were posted yesterday. It would be one more good way to show off our 50th.

That was also our first International Meet & the Studebakers plus the Air Force Academy were enormous. Managed to do another 14 International Meets up to Lancaster 2008 & have booked Meet Headquarters for South Bend 2012.
