Spent the morning with Brian Curtis (chocklateturkey) touring western Whatcom County in the Hawk this morning. The high point was meeting Brian's friend Gene Eaton. Gene has a nifty collection of Studes including some great trucks.

Also some beautiful M trucks. Here's a dump truck ALMOST ready to go back to work...
Here's a rather rare M16. Early (41-42)...note the lack of fender spacers, no hood ornament, chromed bumper. Also it is a short (128") wheelbase. I've not seen one in person before.
How about this 2R school bus?
Neat wrap around windshield.
We headed out to Birch Bay. That's the Georgia Straits in the background. You can see the Hawk's home (Canada) for the last 42 years across the water.
We had a great morning.
