    OK, so not really a Christmas photo, but if I got any gift I wanted this year... I'd wish for a scene like this, and the cash to go plunk down on that nice Speedster parked at the curb

    Oh how sweet it is! Every time I look at vintage photos, I think about all the small car companies that cherished their customers. How they rolled out the red carpet just for you. I didn't grow up with many orphans who were still in business, just AMC, which is also gone. But there is one orphan that's making a comeback and that is Detroit Electric even though it's made in Malaysia. After a 70 year absence, I wish it well.

      I'll have to agree with showbizkid regarding that Speedster. I have a soft spot in my heart for all '55s. Love the photograph.
