  • Happy Christmas from a Snowy England with pictures

    Hi all,
wishing you all a wonderful Christmas break or Happy Holidays with your family and friends from the outer regions of the Studebaker world in deepest, darkest England.

England is covered in Snow and it looks fantastic. My 2.75 year old daughter has made four snow men in our back yard.

    Best wishes to you all

    Regards
    Greg

Greg, your Hawk looks really nice with the snowy background. I thought you folks got a lot more snow than that.
We heard that Heathrow and other airports were shut down for a while due to the heavy snow.

I am sure snow is an interesting novelty there in good ole England. Here in the midwest, however, it is simply a nuisance! Nice photos but you are to be chastised for not having cleaned those white walls before the photo shoot! I have done them for you this time but from now on it is your responsibility.

Could you check to see if there is a rubbable brass in that church? Thanks.

In what part of England were these taken?

A very Merry Christmas to you Greg and your family from a state side SOC-UK Member. I hope we can get over there again one of these years. We haven't been there since the formation meeting took place.

Gorgeous 61 there! I have always loved that colour on a finned Hawk, especially a 61 with the white insert; it is a bit less stunning, albeit nice, on a 61 Lark for example. perhaps That is definitely a Turning Wheels cover shot (the first picture) Paging Art Unger....

Windy wet and snow free (still!) on Canada's Atlantic coast...going to be a muddy and brown Christmas and New Years. Warwickshire is much prettier. Much.

                              Hey Greg,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family.

Believe it or not, all we hear about is how 3" of snow shut down London's Heathrow airport for days.

Since you lived here for a while, you know that this amount of snow ONLY warrants a Studebaker in the Snow Picture - like you have done - not an airport closure!

I guess I'll have to send you a snowblower!
