Hey everyone. I'm back! Looks as though I have a bit of catching up to do eh? I see Jim sold his pride and joy to a certain South GA Chapter member.
(Looking forward to seeing it on the 19th Curtis!)
Well, it's true. My old Scotsman looks nothing like it did on the May TW cover. (Thanks again Art Unger!) My grandad and I have spent the last few weekends taking it apart, sanding away at it, painting it bright and shiny orange, and now putting it all back together. And, for a daily driver, it's turning out quite nice! Nothing like Dicks's GT, but... [8D]
After school yesterday and today I've been putting all the little pieces back on it. We got the front and back glass in today with new gaskets and all of the interior is back in except for the door panels and handles. All that's left is to re-repaint the hood, paint the tailgate, and put it and the front bumper on. Then I'm calling it done! I'm going to do something with the wheels, but I'm tired of sanding for now.
Anyways, here's a few pics. The other 80 [:0] are loading onto Webshots...
The first day. Note original Alaskan Blue paint on the doors.

Some assembly.

Meticulous masking. [xx(]

Glass installed.

Interior lookin' good too!
