  • '54 instrument panel

I finally got around to fitting the '54 inst. panel with metric speedo that I bought through this forum, from John Batka if my memory serves me correctly. Although not correct for my '53 Champion Sedan, I think that it goes nice with my Dash.

That's a really NICE Steering Wheel you got there, but I think you must have flipped the negative over or something, it's on the WRONG side, and so is the Ignition switch!!!

Dave, that's sweet. I think the 54 panel suits the light color of dash better than the 53's black in your car. I want a metric speedo too, one of the many items on my list once I swap transmissions. Junior.

Really beautiful dash. The color of the steering wheel is a nice touch.
BTW Any new progress on the panel? I love that truck.

No progress on the delivery for a while now, we have been busy getting the '53 and Mick's Avanti ready for the 2011 National meet in Western Australia next Easter. It will be a 8,000 + KLM trip so we need to have the cars in tip top shape. Should get back into the van soon.
