Mark, the March 1986 issue of TW in the article about the last Studebakers states the museum car's serial # is C534654. 283, Timberline Turquoise. Not seeing a body number from skimming the articles.

Here is a photo I took of it in 1988, before it was restored. But check out those '66 wheel covers carefully!! It is not painted silver in the 'rising' area where most other '66 wheelcovers are!![:0]

Last June, I tried as best I could to get a pic of the body tag without stepping over the ropes as the hood was partially open. Perhaps someone can figure out the number.

                    • FYI, there is a new website for the Cruiser Registry. You can find it here:

                      www.65cruiser.com

I'm working on updating the links everywhere I can find them and will run the old and new page in tandem for a week or so, then use a redirector on the old site.

                      Keep them coming!

My next Studebaker is in the future, but now getting my hair messed up in a Sebring ragtop!
Almost as fun as a Studebaker!

                      • I tried to get the serial number off of this one that I posted on the thread "Diamonds in the rough", but it was parked too close to the next car and I couldn't get the door open enough to see the plate.

Oh I see it is just a Cruis, not a Cruiser
