Just talked to some kid who placed this ad on CL he does not own the car but seen it advertised on some online auction site. He would not tell me were it was but said it is physically in Long Island. If anybody in long island is familiar with a local auction house having a big (around 250 cars) tomorrow you might want to go check it out. This kid is going to bid and part out.

It is a R2, and should part out for at least 5K even with if the frame is toast, but not a restoration candidate. I just don't have the energy to part out and ship all the small bits.

Ok, I'm confused. It says R1 but has a blower. JB says LI, the link says Utica. Is this two different cars??

I think that the guy is in Utica and the Avanti is on LI and was described as an R1 but shows a blower making it an R2.
