  • '52s...let's see 'em!

There seems to have been this burst of interest in the 1952 Studes here, so I thought I'd try to start a photo thread on the subject...any pix of '52s, let's see 'em! Here are a couple to start with.

52 Champion 2dr mild custom, Flamborough ON, July 2010

Hm, can't quite locate the next two...stay tuned.

Here we go, the two I was looking for...

52 Starlight in green, 2008 Crossroads ZM, St.Catharines ON

And another, in black, same event

Stay tuned for a couple more.

Next one is from Max's place at Lewistown PA, Nov 2009. 52 Starliner HT.

Beautiful blue 52 Starlight at Fleetwood Country Cruize-in, June 2010

And a fairly wild custom droptop I think is a 52...same event. (Sign beside car does indeed say 52.)

      Over to you...

(Just noticed, the blue and green Starlights actually appear to be the same car! I'm not honestly sure how the paint came out looking so blue in the Fleetwood shot. I've seen the car since then and it's definitely a light green.)

Thanks, I need all the inspiration I can get, plus a few pieces of missing chrome.

Here's a pic of my buddy's '52 Champion with my old '56 Patrician. The luck ba$tard bought this car as you see it for $1200, and it needs nothing other than the proper hubcaps. I told him that if he ever sold it that he had to sell it to me since it was originally sold in McCook, Nebraska and that's where I was born.

52s are one of my favorites, especially 4 doors. Prettiest Stude dash and wheel ever IMO. I'll find just the right one for a keeper someday!
