              I had my front and rear bumpers & bumper guards done at Quality Chrome, 406 Oak Ave. Sterling ,Il. 815-626-5244. Did a great job cost $1,000

                  $1,000 for one car's bumpers/guards??? I guess I'll be stuck with the aluminum paint on spots of ole yeller for a while.....

                  I need the '55 & '66 bumpers rechromed, but .....

                    Way less than a grand for top quality chrome plating here. Bumpers are $300. ea, fr. guards $75.00 ea

                      It's amazing to me how chrome prices and quality are all over the place. There just doesn't seem to be any logic behind it. The hardest thing I have had to deal with over the years with restoration work is finding some one that is consistent with quality plating.

                          They are big on bumpers and other plating. Prices are good. Half what another qouted for some seat tubing for an Airflow.
                          Finishing Touch is excellent but expensive. I would use them on fine stuff but for bumpers, I dont think you can beat Calco.
