  • Need mufflers??

I have a pair of NEW 31 inch long, 2 inch in/out chambered mufflers I am not going to use. They are identical to the chambered pipe used on the 69 Z28 Camaro. They would be a perfect fit under a Studebaker. $50 plus shipping for the pair. Thanks!! RICH

how much actual muffling do these do? I am in need of some in the future and want an magnaflow type sound - i assume these could be used as resonators, but not much of a muffler?

            Hi.

I'm interested in them, but I have a question. I went to the website and the longest length they show in the 2" diameter is 26inches. They show a 31" length in the 2 1/2" or 3" mufflers. Is the size you posted correct?

Rich, I couldn't resist. I had the mufflers and a new exhaust installed by Barry Holley (a Studebaker guy!) of Holley Automotive here in Battle Creek. They are not what I imagined - not nearly as harsh as I thought they might be. They are not loud inside the car and there is not buzzing at certain RPMs (like some mufflers). Here is a video I just recorded. My little cell phone distorts the sound some. They aren't stock, but I like it!
