  • 1960 Lark

Drove a freinds all original 1960 Lark four door, six with three speed OD the other day. 47k miles,no rust or rust repair ever, all original interior, and all very nice.I dont much care for the OHV six but it sure is a nice old car. If I wasnt seriously considering trading motorcycles right now I might well give him 5500 for it,his asking price. Does that sound fair for a keeper,or is it way out of line?

If its a 1960, it will be a flathead six. The OD transmission is definitely a plus, though.

If it actually is a ' 61, with the Chromed Plastic Tail Light lenses, overhead suspended Pedals, cowl vent heating, defrost and fresh air vents, recirculating ball type steering gear, overhead valve engine etc. etc. and were a rare Regal Model W6 4 Door. with the oval Lark Emblem on the "C" Pillar, it could be a bit more desirable, but a non-Cruiser 4 Door Sedan, still limits it's value to more like the $3500-4000.00 area.
