i would be proud to own ANY 1937 Studebaker. All the 37 Studebakers had "class" in my opinion.

Gentlemen, Thank you for your comments ...the car in the photo is a 1937 Studebaker Dictator Model 6A Cruising Sedan....I have owned this car since 1975 when I purchased it in Hershey, PA with 31,472 miles on it and drove it 400 miles home. It was in exceptional original condition, never having been changed or modified and was stored in a dry garage....as evidence by the condition of the exterior rubber and interior components. The tools and jack were wrapped in the Boston Globe newspaper dated Sept 3, 1936...
I completed a Frame Off Restoration in 1980 ...rebuilding the engine; transmissission; electrical components; wiring; glass; brakes. It was painted in the original Bermuda Blue Metallic Nitrocellulose Lacquer Paint and this is the paint as seen in the photograph. Many of the exterior Rubber Components are still original. All work was done by myself with the exception of paint and re-chroming... I attended the 16th Stubaker International Meet held in Gettysburg in 1980.
The car has many options including....Upgraded Planar Front Suspension; Overdrive & Freewheeling; Deluxe Interior Package Group[Phantom Steering Wheel; Passenger Sun Visor; Right Side Tail Light; Dual Airtone Horns; Tenite Gear shift Knob]; Deluxe Heater with Defroster; Radio-Under Running Board Antenna-Electric Clock; Fog Lights; Aftermarket Fenderskirts; Studebaker Auxiliary Luggage Rack with Aftermarket Metal Trunk. I have numerous other options that I have collected over the 35 years I have owned the car....that are not on the car yet.....I finally had to put a new interior in it in 1999...
I thoroughly enjoy owning and driving this car ..it currently has 47,000 miles on it .....Frank Mitchell
