    I had a 51 Champ convertible as this one appears 2-B as my 1st Stude 30yrs.ago.I restored it from a restoration started project(never again)When finihed it always got lots of attention & was a fine looking automobile.The down side being it was a 6cyl.auto & couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding
    even with a rebuilt engine.

      Boy does that picture bring back memories! When I was in college, my family owned a beautiful '51 Commander State convertible in powder blue. I drove this car to school in my senior year, since I was a commuting student. I wish I had that car today.
