  • Suburban Seattle Saturday Studes!!

Hey, there's a car show this Saturday at the Life Care Center of Kirkland, WA (an old folks home) at 10101 NE 120th Street from 2 to 4pm and all tired iron is welcome. Usually just Bill Schiffer shows up...our priceless editor of the Washington President newsletter and former Studebaker employee. I'm taking my hapless 57 sedan and wife - ha ha ha!! - and if you're within driving distance, please come too! Dylan! Rich! Dave! Mike! Dick!

Call 'em at 425-823-2323 and reserve a spot for your Stude! Let's get more than just two ol' coots there!

Sorry Tom~ besides the short notice,
I had actually planned on going down to The Smith's little shin-dig today.

But alas-- that didn't happen either!!!

We made it to the show a half hour before the official start time and the place was packed! They limit it to 80 cars because of space limitations and they squeezed us in next to a Hawk. Four Studes were there altogether. Hmm, four out of 80...what, 5%? I guess that was better than reality during production.

I was in Marysville for the weekend at a Westcoast Cruisers PAR-TAY. I missed it too, but we did attend a small show at another seniors home at "Warm Beach" Only Stude there, but attracked the most interest from the old guys at the facility.
