    That's exactly what I was thinking, Frank. With the exception of maybe a later Diesel, that's a lot of money for a "big truck".

    The 2R16A truck is a 1 1/2 ton truck, not a 1 ton as advertised by the auction company. It must have been a fantastic restoration to bring that kind of money. I believe that might have set a record auction price for a large Studebaker truck.
