Also the lower end is bad its a 226 commander six , We're looking for a parts motor in the Seattle/ Tacoma, Western Washington area. I just turned one down a while ago don't that figure.

The Shrock Brothers web site does not list mats for the 1940 Studebakers.

The 'S' Mats have been repopped or custom made by two sources I know about:

John McCall, cell 816-509-0277, 12407 3rd St, Grandview, MO 64030. studebaker22668@msn.com My last contact with him was in 2006 and I do not know if he is still doing mats.

Another source is Kris Arneson, Box 909, Coronation, Alberta, Canada, T0C-1C0, Phone: 1 (403) 578-4515 Their web site is: http://www.runningboardrubber.com/contactus.html

If you use either source or find another source please post some pics or additional information here for others to know about. You might also ask at the Antique Studebaker Club website: http://www.theantiquestudebakerclub.com/ and search their forum via the AACA: http://forums.aaca.org/f126/
