searching for 64 wagonaire to purchase

hi.... i had one of those back in the 60's....i loved the slide back roof............ does anyone know of one around in good shape?

Welcome, ED! There's a good number of WagonAIREs still around and they aren't that expensive to own. When looking at them, look close at the lower, rear fenders (behind the rear wheel wells) and the tailgate. These are the areas that have proven prone to rust out - even in dry climate cars. As you may know, Stude made Wagonaires in 63, 64, 65, & 66. So you've got 4 years of production to look thru. The 65s & 66s had GM engines in them whereas the earlier ones had Stude engines.

thanks(all) for the 64 wago(naire)..... you are right... the jeep had the (neer).... thats why the stude' was the first ....and copy-cats later! i do not think there was any slide top wagons after that ?????????

next to my 94 4-runner with a real iron bumper... it was one of the best wagons made !!!!!!!!
