BESS.... IS... LEGAL!! Woo hoo! Yay!
I know, I know, big deal. But it's a biggie to me. She was last tagged in 1984. I think the coughing and backfiring problem have been solved. She's been driving really sweetly lately. I'm taking her down for new <s>tyres </s> sorry, tires, tomorrow or possibly Friday (is it wednesday already???[:0]). So she's almost good to go.
Now I can take the Champ's front end apart and see what's wrong with it.[xx(]

NORDSTROM'S??????[:0] Good heavens! I'll be lucky if I can afford J.C.Pennys![:I] LOL!

I am debating weather to strip and paint the inside of her wheels. They're pretty rusty. The spare is in frightful condition! Top looks like a million bucks, but turn it over and YIKES![:0][B)][8] I'm going to try buffing out the backsides of her rims and painting them with Rustoleum. Then she'll be ready on Friday for new skins on them. I'm still anxiously awaiting the new wheel covers, and bearings.

They have gone upscale, and no longer have bargain anything!

I'm afraid Bess will have to go to Walmart and get some of those Chinese tyres; but it's okay as we can't tell any of them apart.
