The "Olde" London Bridge is at Lake Havasu City, Arizona (along the Colorado River). Which next to Death Valley, CA. can be the hottest place in the USA during the summer, with Phoenix, a close runner up. In 1962 the "Olde" London Bridge was falling down. Built in 1831, the bridge couldn't handle the ever-increasing flow of traffic across the Thames River. The British government decided to put the bridge up for sale, and Robert McCulloch, CEO of McCulloch Oil Corp. and the founder of Lake Havasu City submitted the winning bid of $2,460,000.(US$). Then it was dismantled and was brought brick by brick to be reassembled at Lake Havasu City, AZ and was dedicated on Oct 10, 1971....

That is your trival pursuit info for today.

I shot a friendly email to ou scammer asking him what other cars he has on ebay. Here's his response:

            quote:1931 Ford Victoria - Yours for 9.5k
1950 Studebaker Champion Convertible - Yours for 7.2k
1959 MG A Twin Cam Roadster - Yours for 7.2k
1960 Alfa Romeo Giulletta Sprint - Yours for 7.2k
1964 De Tomaso Vallelunga Coupe - Yours for 9.5k
1969 PLYMOUTH ROAD RUNNER - Yours for 9.5k
            1970 Shelby GT-500 Convertible - Yours for 29.5k
WIth any luck, anyone who does any research on any of these other scam vehicles via Google or whatnot may find this page. All of these cars are (obviously) scams. It looks like the scammer phishes passwords out of legitimate account holders, so anyone with an ebay account, make sure your password is secure! As always, the best advice is NEVER to go to any website through email-it's too easily faked. Whenever you get a notice from ebay (or any company) go up into your URL box and type in the website name manually. It's not as easy as following hyperlinks, but it's also safer.
