  • 1938 Commander Convertible Sedan Cost New

Can anyone help me identify the cost new of a 1938 Commander convertible sedan?

This particular car was also built for export, which may alter the price.

    Thank you for your consideration.

        Hi Mate,
price of a 1938 Commander Convertible sedan was US $1272.75

        State commander $1336.50

The regular sedan was US 950.00 ish.

        Most were sent overseas.

        Regards

Geez! For the piddly extra $322 dollars, I'd have opted for the ragtop![:I]

Now that the U.S. market price has been posted, here are the Canadian prices for the 1938 Studebakers, which are a well-known fact to be significantly higher than U.S. prices. Convertible sedans are at the end of each model listing.

The Footnotes, #5, is add $61 for Overdrive and $41 for Miracle Shift. and #6, add $68 for Overdrive and $42.50 for Miracle Shift.
