I will repeat, the best mileage I ever got in a Studebaker was 28mpg in a 289 3spd/od. I never managed that in my Champions.

Just paid about 95 cents per liter for Diesel at the Road King in Calgary. The Suburban only took 120 liters this time, since I shut it off when the level got up to the window sills.

Hi guys,
I filled up my cute little Lark on the way to work this morning with motion lotion in middle England.
Price converted into US gallons is a very exciting $6.34 per gallon
So Lennart, you old rascal in Sweden, I win a bit more than you.
Do we have any French or Italians in the forum to peg the UK price?

Well now I don't feel to bad....$2.69 at Safeway, before
the .10cent fuel discount, so I really pay $2.59 the green
diesel is right at $2.79...before the discount....and this
is the same gas/diesel that is being sold in "Sandy Eggo"
at over $3.00 a gal.

A friend over there says that his tax is the equivlant to $297 a month, but since he has a "flat" in London he gets it reduced to less than $20 per month.
