    That ventilation system had to have an adverse effect on gas mileage.[B)] I suppose there'd be SOME offset in the money you'd save on wiper blades.[^]

    Kind of amazing that it would be a full 10 years after the last 2Rs were built before they'd match the "Full-Flo" ventilation with a Full-Flo oil filtration setup![8]

    "Flow thru ventilation" - further evidence that Studebaker was ahead of it's time. As a bonus - no need for glass coverage on your insurance - that must be why it never caught on - the big insurance companies conspired to squash it!

    The lack of a windshield and other glass was part of the Flow-Thru ventilation system. Very 'State-of-the-Art' at the time....
