  • Red '62 GT on e-bay

    John,

I see that you are the high bidder on this car. The seller indicates that he is the second owner, having bought it in 1998. The build sheet shows that it was delivered to Iowa and the tags are from Michigan and expired in April 2000 and he is in Florida. Has this guy moved and been driving on expired tags for 6 years?

The guy lives in Fl, Maybe he used a set of old vanity plates for the picture. I don't buy cars based on the number of owners anyway.Hell the paint job would cost my high bid.

Maybe he bought the car in Michigan, then moved to Florida and restored the car.

It's a mute point now, it's over 20K with it's "resale red" paint job with six days to go. That's way over what I would pay even it did not have the mouse motor and was bone stock.

It sure is pretty,I only wish my Hawk had as nice of paint as this car does.
Wonder why they chose to replace the engine in a nearly stock looking car?
