If the interior is OK I can see the asking price. Esp. if it has a supercharger. Chrome looks good and the body straight, so it might be an OK deal.

They're still made in Brazil, you know. They've got a special Ford 289 with funny valve covers, too.

Wow, what a surprise- Mr. Biggs is bringing it home! That Packard looks too darn good, not so much for the Commander, but it'll clean up, I'm sure...

N8N~ There ought not be a blower on the Packard- just Hawks in '58, but you never know- I've seen it done, and think about doing mine that way from time to time! Good price none the less, it'll sell for a bunch more when the time comes.

Yeah nate, only P-Hawks got a blower in '58. I'm not sure the sedans could have been ordered with one although there's certainly room for one if asked for.
This one's wearing a new Edelbrock carb. Got PS and PB as options.

BTW, don't let the Commander's looks fool you. The owner had taped up alot of the brightwork and then BRUSHED on a coat of primer. Guess it was a preservation manuver. Easily rectified. It's almost all there save for front seat cushions and door panels. There's a bit of rust thru in the floorboards - about what you'd expect out here. 259 auto driveline. I'm sure it runs.

52Hawk, I might be able to point you towards a wagon if you're serious. It's one I used to own.

BTW, this one I bought isn't black and white, it's burgandy (maroon) and cream.

Another PackeBaker! Have to think about starting a Registry(maybe). I was wondering about the color scheme--the lower body is burgundy, but the fins, top, hood and fender extensions around the headlights are white, or did they swap on some light-colored front end pieces? Do they have any spare parts for sale?

No, no parts for sale. In fact, I've gotta find some to fill this one out. As to the paint scheme, the previous owner wasn't too worried about "original". He did the two-tone up the way he wanted it.[}]
