Hi, I'm tring to find information on a studebaker V-8 egine with a engine No. of V424435. As to what year or model car and horse power this is. Any info would greatly apppreciated

It's a 1959 South Bend-made 259ci engine, more than that I can't tell. HP would depend on whether it's got a 2bbl or 4bbl carb and single or dual exhaust. It came out of a passenger car; but you'd have to look at the throttle linkage to tell whether it was a Lark or Hawk.
