Studebakers West in Redwood City is in your area and they are reputable people with a Studebaker only parts and service business.

This site has classified ads and links to local clubs around the country with more ads. Then there's E-Bay. Buyer beware. Check out the thread of Those Crazy E-Bayers. You should be able to find the Stude of your dreams though. Good luck and welcome to our world. Kevin in the Stoogebaker

$1200 is all parts, [u]</u>IF ALL PART NEED REPLACE.[u]</u>

I think John wants a turnkey driveable car.

$1200 to $4000 are parameters, depending on what John can do and what John wants to be done.

An engine can be removed and installed in less than four hours if it's yours. It takes more time if you're paying someone else.

It is a very big ballpark it runs from $1,500 to about $4,000 to rebuild the engine plus another $800 - $1,000 to remove and reinstall the motor. There is another thread about prices on this group if someone wants to point them out for you.

    56 Power Hawk

Does someone have a ball park number to rebuild a 259 V8? Can they recomend a good shop in the San Francisco bay area. Thinking of buying a Power Hawk. Too old to wrench on it myself.
