No,No,NO , I do not need to talk to anyone about another project. This 56 I have is enough. Thanks. But I will say even if the conv. is beyond repair. The soft top and other unique parts would be worth something.

You'd have to talk with my grandad, but I don't think it's worth dragging out. [V] I tried to close the trunk lid on it once and the whole tail end of the car started rocking, so... [:0]

However, I could make you a deal on my '52 HT.

For what it's worth my experiance is that if I wanted to build a CLONE or a complete body off, of any kind. I would start with the biggest piece of junk I could find.(now there are limits) The reason being is you are going to have to replace everything anyway and if there is a adjustment or two you want to do it is easier to justify (in my mind) then destroying an original. By the way the conv. in the yard mstude has would be a heck of a start???? NO! NO! NO! I am not interested!!!!

I have heard that there is a blue 52 Commander convertible with red interior in the AACA Museum in Hershey, PA but I haven't seen it.

AND, you would have to change it to Standard with Overdrive! [:0]

It has an interior done in "grey cloth." It will cost a lot to make a Pace Car which would include a red leather interior. I don't think that a cloth interior was even available in a 1952 Commander convertible.
