I know the rims you're thinking of, why don't you try them and let us know? I suspect that they have too much backspace (whereas with most vintage wheels you won't have enough) but you never know till you try 'em on for size. I think they have a pretty healthy offset though, close to an inch from what I've been able to find on the web.

does ford still use the same lug pattern now days, say on a 2001 mustang? my buddy is putting on some new rims and his stock wheels (crager type) would look great on my car when i am done painting it.

Those Torque Thrusts will fit just fine if you have a 4.5 to 4.75" back spacing just watch in the front the only spot they will hit is the front upper a arm zerk fitting on a tight turn. Then I just remove the zerk and put in a flush plug.

stock size is 15x4.5" unless you have Avanti wheels for some reason (Super Lark for example) then they are 15x5"

15x6" is about the limit, a 15x7" might fit but you'd have to be careful about getting the right offset/backspace. Only way to know is to try but I wouldn't bother unless there's at least 3.5" backspace (zero offset)

lug pattern is standard ford/mopar, 5 on 4.5"

    good luck

What size rims come on a LARK?

I get my car this weekend and noticed an ad for "Wider Rims" listed by Bob Helm Studebaker Parts (15 x 6) What size rims are stock? and how wide a rim will a LARK handle? (I have a set of 15 x 7 Torque Thrusts collecting dust in my garage!) Is the lug pattern 4.5 on 5?
This stuff is probably in the manual, but I like yous guys opinions!
