Wow, Adam! You weren't kidding about the car being shortened. It almost looks like a Cheetah kitcar. I'll start looking through all my old rodding & custom magazines.........

Actually the Cheetah was a production car from the shops of Bill Thomas Race Cars. Here's a brief history....
              http://www.cheetahcars.com/history.htm

I remember when I was in high school in Tacoma, WA, in 1965 watching the Allen Green Chevrolet Cheetah at Puyallup Valley Raceway (no longer there). Ate up a lot of Cobras.

Do you remember strip manager Richard Rogers? He had a '56 GHawk that was a push car for his dragster. There was also about a 1940 Champion 2 door sedan (Chev. powered)that was always there. I still have a Puyallup Raceways shirt (doesn't fit <G&gt.

                      Dwain,
Don't remember those (brain cells are fewer now <g&gt. I do remember the "Red Carpet" BRG Cobra, and Jerry Ruth making a full pass with the tires smokin', neat B Stock Stick 62 Chevy 409 station wagon, Jerry Reeves with 4 2's on his '53 Stude Starlight, getting hit in the foot with part of a U-Joint from a '50 Ford, and probably other stuff (after a few beers <g&gt. Bring the T shirt to Spokane. I'd love to see it.
