    Looking for a door sill plate , part number is 1362270, this is a wide sill plate that fit the late '66s . Also a 2dr one , anyone have one of these they'd like to sell ?

        The SI website doesn't show they have that part number. They only show having the rear door standard sill plates (1353802...$45/pr).

        How much wider is this late trim? What have others done for sill plates? They look simple enough, maybe i'll just makes some from from stainless strip stock (I'll have to check, I think we used to have some about the right size in our shop).

          Mike, some have the letters embossed on them S-T-U.... The CKs had them, not sure about the later years.

            Mike the late ones were 3 inches wide compaired to the early 1 1/4 inch ones that were just plan flat , not very attractive looking at all . Heres a pic of the late one .

              Not only are these sill plates wider but they carry a slight curve to conform to the curve in the rocker panel. If they are no longer available perhaps someone can set up a C&C machine to produce one out of some aluminum stock, although the bottom lip that goes under the rocker pinch weld would make things more difficult.
