  • Updated Ebay search

Since I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets fed up with imbeciles who post 300 identical things on Ebay just to clutter it up, I've developed another search filter to clean out the last one.

    http://motors.shop.ebay.com/i.html?_...countbodyparts

If a mod would like to make this a sticky, I'll update it everytime we get a new nutcase.

Great job! Mine was at 16,100 matches and yours was 5200[:0]

I hadn't updated mine since it's a losing battle- I've found that not only do new spammers come along, for some reason the ones currently blocked get back into my search.

I love eBay, but nothing's perfect; so I just live with scrolling through the nonsense. Thanks for doing this- the battle continues[^]

Also- your idea of a 'sticky' is a good one. Might be worth considering.

Mine usually lasts a month or so, then needs updated. I don't mind doing this at all, as I do it for myself all the time, and I figured I might as well share it, and make people's lives a little easier!

What also helps out a little, is try just looking at the stuff in the "view images" rather than the "view listings" setting.

Thanks! That was a big help; I've been getting fed up with all the identical listings lately.

No, not really! I sent a message to the idiot that sells the antennas asking him/her if the antenna they were selling for the 1910 Packard was a factory model, and if it worked with the factory radio. They promptly replied, "They are universal antennas fitting a variety of cars", to which I replied back, "Even a car that didn't come with a radio from the factory?", no reply to that one, lol!
