I was searching for pic of car in Pla "GREASE". The one I saw was a 1955 T-Bird. This was in another Production. Can anyone tell what and where this one showed?

I can see that this is a cut-up late '55 Sedan made into a Convertible, but where or when this happened, I am sorry I don't have a clue!

No idea about when or where this happened, but that's defionately a chopped '55, but missing and/or replaced parts. No windshield, lark steering wheel, looks like plastic parts.[xx(] But for a play it looks good.

Looks like it is sitting in a malt shop somewhere.

I wonder if this could be a prop from the Broadway Play version of
Grease rather than the movie. The people do not look like those in either of the Grease movies.

Looks like the windshield is missing.

That is a traveling production of Grease and will be in Cleveland starting the 11th. The posters and ads with that picture of the set and cast has been posted around town for a while. I work about 4 long blocks from the Palace Theatre. If I can get down there, I'll see if they have the '55 in there and if they need some parts from Studebakers Northwest.

While we do have a '55 parts car,
we are a bit of a drive from Cleveland...

Redheads are always up for long drives, Dave. and...there's always the USPS. I just got a package from Mike, so I know parts can find their way here.

Yes the car is a stage prop. The car looked beat but when they removed side and front panel in dim lighting the car was beatiful. When actors sat in it their heads were above winsheild I saw Grease at Hershey Theater on 26 April.
