    I got this in a message on Facebook. I'm pretty sure it's a '54. What do you guys think[?]

    Hi Chris I think it is an early 2R truck. 49-51 Has the "smoothie" hubcaps as well as the smaller rear window,also the "gunsight" hood ornement... I also think this cause it looks just like my 1950 sitting outside the window. haha DMc

      Looks like a 2 pc windshield as well. (confirms early 2R)

        What do I think? I think it was more a picture of Ma than the truck (LOL).

              Yep, a '49-'52 2R5 or 2R6. In black and white it looks a lot like my Dad's '50 that we had when I was a little kid. He actually towed a house trailer with it. Since I've gotten to know a little about these trucks as an adult, I have always hoped it was a 2R6! It was blue and in the old pictures I have of the truck it looks just like this.
