I am needing a windshield gasket with stainless the correct size for my 1950 Champion. As one can see, there is lots of space between the two pieces of glass. I placed the center bar between the two pieces to show how much space there is between the two pieces of glass. It was bought from SI and I sent it back and they agree that it is too long. They are conferring with the manufacturer but unsure when they will have some the right size. The old gasket measures 129 inches around the outside and the glass comes right up to the tabs just like it should but the new one measures about 132 inches around. I am waiting for a call tomorrow from a place in Canada which may be able to help me out. A place in Arizona measured the one they had ordered from SI for resale and it measured about 132 inches too so there was no point in ordering it. If anyone else has run into this problem and figured out how to use the gasket, I would like to know how they did it.Any help will be greatly appreciated.
