These five photos in the link below, were taken in front of the Carl E. Filer Co. in Greenville, PA in July 1956. The car is serial no. 5699-1258 and I'm told the car was sold for $48K at the Amelia Island, FL auction in 2004. I saw the car in NC in 1998 and it looked beautiful.
I'm so low tech, or I'd have posted several of the color photos of the Filer dealership here. The Packard Info site had a photo of Filer's (same one as in my signature line), and I showed Carl Jr. last week and he said, "Why don't you send him one of the Caribbean we sold?" So, I sent him all five. They were rightly proud to deliver a Caribbean...one of only 276 convertibles built that year and only 18 cars from the last Packard convertible.

P.S. I mailed these photos 'first class' in the Kent, OH post office last Friday mid-day, and the website-keeper received them in California on Monday!
