        I would like it way better with amber bulbs, then it would not look gaudy when not lit! I think if you liked that look, you could dye the stock lenses amber.

          I would like it way better with amber bulbs, then it would not look gaudy when not lit! I think if you liked that look, you could dye the stock lenses amber.

            When the amber lenses were 1st legislated;For those who wanted to one could buy a translucent coating that was liquid in a screw top bottle & the top had a swab type applicator attached,much the same as nail polish container but not a brush.The inside of the signal lens was painted & they appeared to be manufactures amber lenses.It smelled the same as nail polish & dried about as fast.American ingenuity ?

                While I try my best to avoid Michael's (shudder), they carry little bottle of dye for staining glass. Should work on plastic, too.
