  • 1956 Champion 2dr, How many have you seen?

    I was just wondering how many 1956 2dr Champions have you seen. I have seen a few 1957's but I can't recall any 56's ,well maybe one or two. How many do you know of (2 doors).

    There is one on Studedaves current thread. I know it was not the model people began to collect early on so there probally isn't as many a lets say the hawks.

        I have a 56 Commander 2 dr. They are called Sedanets. A one year deal.

            From what I understand the sedanets were the cheaper Champion and Commander

                        I don't like the six. The President or Commander are what I like from that year. I really love the President Classic. My next goal, after Bess is a bit more presentable, of course.

                          I don't like the six. The President or Commander are what I like from that year. I really love the President Classic. My next goal, after Bess is a bit more presentable, of course.

                            Funny you should mention those little '56 two doors...

                            I saw one today. I even cranked the thing up and listened to the sound of that 185 flat head 6 through dual exhaust with cherry bomb mufflers. [8D][^] A sweet sound it is indeed. This one belongs to my Dad. He bought it off of eBay right before the '04 International Meet in Charlotte, which is where he picked it up.
