        It's a 1947 Commander. No chrome bar across the top of grill(1948) no chrome piece down the middle of grill (1949).

          Did any Champions '47 - '49 have those driving lights below the head lights?
          Is that easy determination between the two?

            Mike,
            I believe the Champions do not have the driving lights below the head lights. The Champions had a small light in the head light ring. Compare the business coupe in the after dinner mint 3/24 photo and this one.

            Commanders are a larger car and have a heaver look to them.
