    • Post 177 looks to be the one and only Diesel Jim rig heading eastbound with a load of Studebaker treasures. From the looks of it looks like he got caught in a time warp. Nice art work!

      • This is a photo of our '54 (AKA Grace on the first day of spring 2015 that I shot through the milk house window on our son and daughter in-law's farm. We were living with them at the time while our house was being built next door. Sam needed the bay of his workshop that Grace was in so he could repair some of his farm equipment. You can see the house just to the right of the rear fender in the second photo.

          • Matthew started this thread 8-1/2 years ago and most of the early pictures' links to online photo hosts have been lost or deleted. BUMMER !
But, while Len Shepherd is no longer with us, and Dave Arnold has chosen to no longer participate, both of their photo server links remain intact.

            Here's a felt-tip sketch I did in 1981 of a '53 Commander I bought in 1976 and still own (same one I submitted in post #88).

            • Going deep in the archives....

BTW, I restarted a drawing of Revellia and the Champ tonight. It's sort of a sequel to the drawing that I did in 1993 of her mom in a brass bikini next to a '47 Champion.

                  • Finished inking and now on to the coloring. It's an InterStellar OverDrive and Sci Fi Guy! crossover with Revellia, Toobie, Zewellia, Daisy Mae Studebaker, Prothee, and Cy. Two of these have birth defects. A teenage polydactyl with an unique physique and she's a slightly fatter and frumpier version of her more athletic and amazonian Mom. She's a transplanted Leian (from the Tau Ceti system) who grew up with Rock & Roll culture and identifies with it, making her an outcast with Leians. And also with Rock & Rollers since she's not exactly a human. I can really sympathize with that. A cheepie tube amp with some puppy dog level A.I. An electric double harmonic accordion that's been hot rodded. A mongrel product of number five of the big three, and fading fast. A homebrew robot with a Panapet head and a weird experimental 8-bit chip. And a cute kitty with a horrible birth defect.....

If it's mostly the earlier posts, much of them have been moved or removed from the photo-serve site that hosted them.
